Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Associate Director-Capital Infrastructure Projects to lead diverse utility infrastructure programs in the Southwest. You will collaborate with the Arizona Account Director to guide capital projects, energy generation, and grid transformation initiatives for electric and gas utilities.

You will manage teams, drive program delivery, and ensure performance, risk management, and client satisfaction across multiple engagements while mentoring staff and shaping project

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ post-graduation project management experience in the power utilities sector.
• Knowledgeable in all phases of capital projects and project management life cycle beyond IT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with stakeholder and financial management.
• Ability to travel and work onsite with clients.

Responsibilities

• Managing and mentoring project teams and coordinating projects and workstreams.
• Monitoring and evaluating project activities and overall performance.
• Contributing to project planning, budgeting, and strategy.
• Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and reports.
• Overseeing contracts and project financials.
• Establishing and reporting on key performance indicators.
• Analyzing project data and generating insights to optimize performance.
• Identifying issues and proposing effective solutions.
• Providing operational support and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Coordinating with client teams to develop innovative solutions and proposals.
• Supporting growth and client satisfaction within account teams.
• May include grants management compliance.
