Job summary

Brooklyn SolarWorks is seeking a Canvassing & Field Marketing Manager to build and lead our field marketing program, educating homeowners about solar, generating high-quality leads, and booking appointments for our sales team.

You will own the program end-to-end, from strategy and tools to recruiting, training, and managing a canvass team across NYC, starting as an individual contributor and growing into a leadership role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of canvassing or door-to-door sales experience.
• 3+ years of team management experience (lead, motivate, and develop).
• Experience with lead tracking software, CRM programs, and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute an effective field canvassing strategy to generate qualified solar leads.
• Build relationships with local businesses and community partners to generate solar educational and lead generation programming.
• Manage and coach a team of canvassers and an event coordinator to expand the impact of the field marketing capabilities.
• Create and maintain all canvassing and field marketing materials including scripts, printed collateral, gear, and budget.
• Research, recommend, and implement canvassing and lead-tracking software.
• Establish clear processes for lead capture, analysis, data accuracy, and follow-ups.
• Act as a steward of the brand in the neighborhoods we serve.
