Job summary

Curaleaf Westerville is seeking a Lead Store Associate to supervise daily retail operations and coach a team of associates. You will ensure a welcoming guest experience, drive sales through consultative product guidance, and uphold compliance with SOPs and cash handling.

The role requires 21+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year in customer-facing or sales roles with POS experience. Flexible evenings and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year in a customer-facing or sales role.
• At least 1 year using POS systems and cash handling.
• At least 6 months leadership experience in retail.
• At least 6 months experience in store operations including opening/closing procedures and cash reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a warm, welcoming environment for guests and coach your team to deliver exceptional service.
• Empower associates with personalized product recommendations and expert guidance.
• Drive consultative selling and upsell to meet daily KPI goals.
• Enroll guests in rewards programs and capture insights to improve future experiences.
• Ensure inventory integrity and accurate POS profiles; verify customer IDs.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and comply with SOPs and safety protocols.
• Lead opening/closing duties, cash reconciliation, and overnight audits when needed.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback; delegate tasks and support conflict resolution.
