Job summary

MAAS Companies seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead several California campus projects, ensuring field verification against drawings and DSA requirements. You will act as the owner's representative, reporting on schedule, cost, and staffing while coordinating with design teams and inspectors.

With a proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects, you will handle phasing, swing space planning, risk mitigation, and closeout.

Qualifications

• 7 years managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• 2 years on school or college design/construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering/urban planning/construction management; 11 years total experience may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee several campus construction projects valued between $5M and $100M.
• Verify field construction against drawings and DSA requirements.
• Report status on schedule, cost, budget, staffing, delays, disputes, changes.
• Maintain project risk register and mitigation plans.
• Develop construction phasing and swing space plans with college and design team.
• Resolve complex issues with design, contractors, inspectors, and DSA.
• Lead closeout with DSA, District, and program office.
• Coordinate with relocation project manager on furniture and moves.
• Support college project team through planning, programming, design.
