Job summary

MAAS is seeking a construction project support professional for on-site work at California State University, Long Beach. You will manage meeting minutes, track schedules, and support design‑build activities through to closeout, coordinating with campus stakeholders and the project team.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of experience on complex projects, a related bachelor's degree, and the ability to read construction plans with clear writing and precise record keeping.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience supporting complex construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans.
• Clear writing and organized record keeping.
• On-site work at the Long Beach campus (in person).

Responsibilities

• Take meeting minutes, track actions, and follow up for project meetings.
• Maintain schedule tracking and provide updates to the project team.
• Support design-build activities through design, construction, and closeout.
• Track RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Assist with budget tracking and monthly project reports.
• Coordinate with campus stakeholders and project team.
• Conduct site walks and provide field support as needed.
• Support closeout and turnover activities.
