Job summary

MAAS is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager to be the on-site senior leader for the CSU Long Beach University Student Union renovation and expansion project. You will manage the design-build delivery from scope development to closeout and lead the project team on daily operations.

You will reconcile contract budgets with the Division Fiscal Manager, guide design decisions to stay within budget, coordinate value engineering, and ensure compliance with all reviewing agencies for this 235

Qualifications

• About 10 years of experience on public works projects.
• Design-build or progressive design-build experience required.
• Senior level project leadership supervising design and construction teams.
• Availability to work on site at the Long Beach campus in person only.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and construction process from scope development through closeout.
• Supervise the project team and provide day-to-day leadership on site.
• Manage contract budgets, reconcile with the Division Fiscal Manager, and report monthly cash flow.
• Guide stakeholder decisions to keep scope within the approved budget and coordinate value engineering.
