Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp operations. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage a kitchen team, and ensure allergen safety and sanitation at a fast-paced site.

This is a seasonal, on-site, live-in position May through Sept, with a full-time exempt schedule of six days per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
