Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a rural summer camp. You will oversee all prep and production, manage staff, and maintain allergen safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

This live-on-site position runs May through September, with six 70+ hour weeks. Competitive pay, bonus, and full room and board are included, plus travel allowance and opportunities to lead a dynamic camp kitchen.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety compliance and health department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
