Job summary

RealManage is seeking a Community Association Manager (CAM) in Plano, TX to lead day-to-day operations for a portfolio of communities, delivering professional, timely service aligned with our values and SLAs.

You will work closely with the Director of Community Association Management and Boards to support smooth operations, resolve issues, promote harmony, and enhance community value and resident experience.

Qualifications

• CMCA or state-equivalent certifications desired.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2–3 years in property management / community management experience.
• Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team.
• Strong understanding of community association business and financial statements.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• High integrity, honesty, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external customers.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emails and calls within 24 hours, while upholding RealManage guiding principles.
• Build strong relationships with residents and foster a collaborative community culture.
• Provide consistent updates on collections, compliance, service requests, and work orders.
• Address escalated homeowner concerns professionally and effectively.
• Oversee daily operations of a portfolio of community associations.
• Serve as trusted advisor to Boards, assisting with contractor selection, insurance coordination, and long-term planning.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance services, amenities, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare for and conduct Board and Annual Meetings, including producing monthly management reports with actionable insights.
• Present clear, timely financial and operational reports to Boards and stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships, including bidding, contract negotiation, oversight, and issue resolution.
• Oversee community projects, including repairs, maintenance, and improvements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Proactively identify opportunities for service and operational improvement.
• Ensure full compliance with governing documents, legal regulations, and industry standards.
• Implement risk management strategies and maintain proper insurance coverage; manage claims through resolution.
• Analyze and navigate complex issues using sound judgment and effective problem-solving skills.
• Lead, mentor, and support staff to foster professional growth and high performance.
• Participate in required team and training meetings to remain informed and up to date.
• Conduct all duties with the highest level of personal, professional, and ethical integrity.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, accountability, and professionalism in carrying out responsibilities.
• Complete special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
