Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate intelligent BIM models for transit and multimodal projects. You will lead cross-discipline coordination across architecture, structures, roadway design and MEP, running clash detection and enforcing standards.

You will mentor staff, ensure model integrity, and support design teams with BIM execution planning, data handoff, and client coordination. Travel may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel up to 10% or less.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination of intelligent models across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish, document, and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows.
• Mentor and train production staff across offices to build institutional capability.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements.
• Perform related engineering support tasks and coordinate specifications with drawings.
