Job Description:
The Lead Cabin Project Manager ensures STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) solutions for Cabin upgrades projects. The job holder will lead a multifunctional team with technical / project management expertise to assure on-time, on-cost and on-quality delivery of commercial aircraft upgrades solutions.
Your challenges:
Lead a multifunctional team with qualified technical and project management expertise to assure on-time, on-cost and on-quality delivery of commercial aircraft upgrades solutions.
Coordinate all technical / engineering activities linked to a project, by planning, supervising and monitoring these activities in terms of deliverables, schedule, cost and risk.
Build technical descriptions.
Identify Design Office deliverables, associated workload & planning.
Coordination of all design & justification activities.
Supervising all final tests & substantiation activities to ensure certification of the A/C modification.
In-Service Support & Continuous Airworthiness.
Your boarding pass:
B.S. degree in engineering (Mechanical / Aeronautic / Civil / Electrical Engineering)
20 years experience within the aviation industry, specifically in aircraft cabin engineering and development process, and knowledge of associated design, certification and qualification requirements.
Experience as supervisor for project management or engineering teams.
In depth understanding of the cabin / cabin systems retrofit process.
Experience in aircraft modifications and upgrades.
Experience in cabin equipment / cabin integration.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ability to understand and mentor principles within assigned discipline.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical aircraft topics.
Excellent communication, coordination, and organization skills.
Ability to inter-relate with and motivate diverse teams.
Authorized to work in the US.
Preferred experience in:
Airbus aircraft general knowledge.
PMP Certification.
Knowledge of EASA Part 21 (DOA / POA), Part 145 and CS25 regulations requirements.
Delegated signatory for ATA25 within Airbus DOA.

Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings.
Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms.
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications.
Equipment Operation: able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts.
Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs.
Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools.
Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer.
Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving.
Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor.
Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice.
Walking: able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
