Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking a Business Office Manager for our Kingwood, WV location. The BOM will oversee the center's business office operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate billing and collections in a post-acute setting.

The role requires Medicare/Medicaid knowledge, supervisory experience, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication with executives, families, and outside agencies is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the business office of a Long Term Care facility.
• College degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related field.
• Supervisory experience and management training.
• Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, and managed care costing.
• Proficiency with accounts receivable, accounts payable, G/L, and information systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly BOM Admission Checklist and present at morning stand-up.
• Verify and tie out midnight census testing for validity and accuracy.
• Complete admission procedures in absence of Admissions Coordinator.
• Conduct weekly Medicaid pending/collection blitz meetings.
• Perform root cause analysis on accounts contributing to bad debt and propose solutions.
• Attend UR/PPS meetings and supervise BOM support staff.
