BA Lead – CMS is responsible for leading business analysis activities for Crew Management Systems and related aviation operational modules. This role ensures accurate requirements gathering, process optimization, and acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to capture business needs for CMS and crew scheduling workflows.
  • Perform gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Documentation
  • Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices.
  • Maintain traceability matrices and ensure compliance with aviation standards (FAA/EASA).
• Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams for scope clarity.
  • Manage change requests and perform impact analysis.
• Quality Assurance
  • Support UAT planning and execution; validate deliverables against requirements.
• Leadership
  • Mentor junior BAs and enforce documentation standards across CMS modules.

Ensure consistency in analysis practices across aviation workflows.

Core BA Skills

• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and business process modeling.
• Expertise in BRD/FSD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Azure DevOps.

Domain Knowledge

• Deep understanding of Crew Management Systems (CMS) and aviation operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA) and airline industry standards.

Technical Awareness

• Basic knowledge of cloud-native platforms, API integrations, and microservices concepts.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and developers.

Leadership & Behavioral

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead BA teams and enforce documentation standards.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.

Preferred Certifications

• CBAP or PMI‑PBA for business analysis.
• SAFe® Agilist for scaled agile delivery.
• Airline domain certifications (IATA or equivalent).

Experience and Compensation

Experience: 8-10 Years

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.

Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
