Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast is seeking a Lead Building Technician in East Hartford, CT to oversee maintenance, repair, and operation of all building systems. You will ensure a safe, efficient facility environment for production activities and lead the team to minimize downtime.

The role requires five years of building maintenance experience with mechanical systems expertise, and strong HVAC, electrical, and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years building maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance and repair activities for all building systems.
• Ensure proper operation of building equipment including boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed with regular inspections.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment for maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities for energy savings and sustainability improvements.
• Respond to emergency situations to minimize disruption.
