Job summary

DOC in Milford, CT is seeking a Project Manager with at least five years of construction experience to lead the day-to-day execution, controls, cost and risk for a major project. You will coordinate internal teams, trade partners, and clients through preconstruction, construction and turnover.

You will manage project timelines, budgets, subcontractor agreements, and reporting, while upholding safety standards and working with BIM, MEP, estimating teams and other departments.

Qualifications

• Five years of construction project management experience.
• Four-year degree in construction-related field.
• Experience supervising teams and making decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore or similar, cost management and scheduling software.
• OSHA 30 is required; LEED/Lean/CPR/First Aid a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project planning and scheduling.
• Oversee financials, owner pay apps, cost control, and field staff.
• Complete buy-out, procurement, subcontracts, and subcontractor management.
• Produce reports, projections, and cost reviews.
• Monitor progress and resolve operational issues with the field team.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, owner, architects, engineers, and trade partners; maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Lead safety goals implementation and ensure compliance with site rules.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
