Job summary

The City of Adrian seeks a Chief Building Official to lead the Building Department and supervise staff responsible for code enforcement, inspections, plan review, and administrative tasks. The role ensures compliance with state codes and city ordinances while guiding development review and inspection programs.

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and substantial supervisory experience, with a strong command of construction methods, municipal codes, and leadership
