Job summary

State of Hawaiʻi, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Institutions Division, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform building maintenance and repair work across its facilities.

You will plan, lay out, schedule, and assign work orders, supervise a crew, estimate materials and labor costs, requisition supplies, and report on progress and quality. A valid driver's license and six years of related experience (two as journeyworker) are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in the repair and maintenance of buildings; checks and inspect buildings, structures, equipment and facilities for needed repairs; estimates material and labor costs; requisition materials; inspects work in progress and upon completion for proper quality of work; makes oral and written reports of work completed by the crew.
