Job summary

The Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation Institutions Division at Maui Community Correctional Center seeks a skilled building maintenance professional to perform a variety of repair work and oversee helpers as needed. Qualifications

• FOUR (4) YEARS of work experience in performing a variety of building maintenance repair work or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States for employment with the State of Hawaii.
• Driver's license may be required for some positions.
• Compliance with PREA requirements during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs a variety of skilled building maintenance and repair work as a regular and continuing assignment.
• May supervise one or more building maintenance helpers or other helpers assisting in the work.
