Job summary

State of Hawai'i's Department of Transportation - Highways is seeking a Bridge Maintenance Supervisor I to supervise maintenance crews, inspect bridges, and perform repairs on structural steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and related facilities at heights and underwater.

The role requires six years of construction and maintenance experience, including three years in bridge work and at least one year in a supervisory capacity; valid Hawaii driver's license; electronic notification and testing

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in construction and maintenance work, including three years in bridge maintenance and repair; at least one year in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Bridge Maintenance Workers in maintenance and repair of bridges, buildings, and related structures.
• Plan and supervise maintenance work, prepare cost estimates, and budgets.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulations during maintenance tasks.
