Job summary

The City of Phoenix Aviation Department seeks a Building Maintenance Foreman to supervise skilled workers responsible for maintenance, repair, and remodeling of public buildings within the Phoenix Airport System. The role requires proficiency across multiple trades and includes Hazmat compliance, safe work practices, and contract oversight.

Shifts available include second and/or third, with a pay range of $34.08 to $45.67 per hour. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• One year of supervisory experience in building construction or maintenance and repair.
• Three years of skilled level experience in one or more building trades.
• Working irregular hours including second/third shifts, weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Hazmat compliance and safe work practices.
• Contract development and oversight.
• Coordinate remodeling schedules with other work sections.
• Develop and administer preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Create electronic reports using MS Office, MS Outlook, and SAP Plant Maintenance.
