Thornton Tomasetti, a global engineering and design firm, seeks an Associate in Restoration & Renewal to lead complex renovation projects, guide multidisciplinary teams, and mentor staff. You will apply advanced building envelope and architectural expertise to deliver resilient outcomes and expand client relationships.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Architecture, licensure as an Architect, and 8+ years in renovation/restoration/adaptive reuse. Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional licensure as an Architect is required.
• 8+ years of architectural experience in renovation, restoration, adaptive reuse, or historic preservation projects.
• Demonstrated technical judgment with the ability to guide project approach, scope, and priorities.
• Leadership that inspires others through mentoring, empowerment, and effective communication, while expanding client-facing presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead building envelope evaluations and renovation projects from assessment through delivery.
• Serve as the technical expert for clients, providing guidance on architectural and envelope challenges.
• Grow and mentor a high-performing team, raising technical standards and developing future leaders.
• Expand client relationships and support business development, including proposals and strategic planning.
• Influence practice strategy through technical and leadership contributions.
