Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Senior Electrical Associate to lead complex renewal projects, directing technical vision and client strategy in our Restoration & Renewal Practice. You will mentor teams, manage cross-disciplinary work, and influence firm-wide growth through thought leadership.

The role requires a PE license, a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred), and 10+ years of experience with existing building systems and renovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on existing building systems, including renovations or adaptive reuse.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision on large or complex renewal projects, setting direction and defining best-in-class solutions.
• Serve as the primary client partner, building trusted relationships and strategic impact.
• Lead and grow high-performing teams across multiple staff.
• Drive new business and market presence through high-level proposal development and industry engagement.
• Shape firm strategy with a personal business roadmap and advise leadership on opportunities and trends.
