Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school diploma with 5–8 years of related experience.
• Licensing requirements to be fulfilled within 180 days of start: Life science, EP, Fire Pump and High-Rise Fire Director.
• Additional certifications in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, HVAC/refrigeration, process controls, mechanical power transmission, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Assign work orders and estimate time/materials for repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex building systems.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Develop an energy management program for efficient operation.
• Oversee outside contractors and respond to inquiries/concerns.
• Lead preventive maintenance initiatives to meet or exceed lifespans of equipment.
