Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Chief Building Engineer in Dallas, TX to lead day-shift operations for a premier Class A office property. You will guide daily maintenance, develop preventative programs, and mentor a multidisciplinary team to ensure flawless facility performance.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in building operations or facilities management.
• Supervisory or lead technician experience with coaching or training duties.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Direct shift operations and assign work orders to staff and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage a preventive maintenance program for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Inspect and ensure systems operate within normal parameters and safety standards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and tools and schedule downtime to minimize business disruption.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with teams to resolve issues swiftly.
• Coach colleagues to build expertise across building operations and maintenance disciplines.
