Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Building Engineer for on-site operations in Dallas. You will maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety and HVAC systems, ensuring safety, reliability and energy efficiency. The role involves preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and inspections at a large facility.

You will follow safety codes, lead by example, mentor colleagues, and coordinate with security and facilities teams to optimize performance and life-cycle costs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in building systems.
• Ability to interpret codes and safety directives.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and HVAC.
• Align with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program for efficiency.
• Assist preventive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Adhere to hazardous materials policies and keep a clean workplace.
• Review inspections of fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Lead by example and mentor teammates consistent with CBRE RISE values.
