The City of Huntsville’s General Services Department is seeking qualified applicants to fill our Building Custodian II position. This role involves lead manual work cleaning, securing, and performing janitorial maintenance of public buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities include opening and closing facilities, maintaining security during public events, and working independently under established procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

• Carry out daily tasks independently according to established procedures.
• Work under supervision from a Facilities Janitorial Supervisor or Custodial and Security Supervisor.
