University of Alabama in Huntsville is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to lead the second shift, manage custodial staff, and ensure high cleaning standards across campus facilities. The role involves training, inspections, and coordinating monthly/quarterly cleaning projects.

The supervisor will oversee payroll, scheduling, and staff development while maintaining building security and safety protocols in Alabama. A strong background in facilities operations is expected.

Formación

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least five years of full-time supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of current cleaning practices and disinfectants.
• Leadership, communication, and coaching abilities.
• Familiarity with laws and regulations related to supervising employees.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and schedule monthly/quarterly custodial projects.
• Train and supervise custodial staff; inspect work.
• Maintain records and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Perform building audits for custodial/maintenance needs.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, payroll, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure building security by locking/unlocking doors and gates.
