Job summary
WSP USA seeks a Lead Professional, Structural Engineering - Bridges to join our team in Valhalla, NY. You will provide advanced technical guidance for bridge investigations, remediation, and construction, and oversee design, development, and construction documentation for public sector projects.
You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, ensure adherence to codes and safety standards, and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related field.
- NY State Registered Professional Engineer or eligible via reciprocity.
- Strong knowledge of structural/civil construction laws, codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Apply high-level structural engineering techniques across project phases from concept to construction.
- Develop construction plans, specs and cost estimates with coordination among teams.
- Oversee design reviews to ensure compliance with codes and QA/QC standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets, hours, and resources.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations explaining findings and recommendations.
