Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Professional, Structural Engineering - Bridges to join our team in Valhalla, New York. You will lead structural analysis, design, site-work, and reviews for bridge-focused infrastructure projects across public and private sectors.

You will collaborate with engineers, architects, planners, and clients to develop plans, estimates, and schedules, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of post-education structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer in New York State or eligible via reciprocity.
• Knowledge of structural design principles, codes, and applications.
• Experience with infrastructure design, rehab, and construction management.
• Ability to lead teams and manage small to mid-size projects.
• Proficient in structural software (CSiBridge, STAAD, OpenBridge Designer, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection and analysis from sites and surveys.
• Develop construction plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Coordinate with owners, disciplines, and clients.
