AECOM in Providence, Rhode Island is seeking a Bridge Inspector Team Leader to lead field inspections and coordinate access and equipment for RIDOT/NBIS projects. You will supervise team members and vendors, perform analyses, and prepare inspection reports on bridge conditions.

Qualified candidates hold a Civil or Structural Engineering degree, four years of experience, and an Engineer-in-Training license; a Rhode Island PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field required.
• Four years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience as a team leader/supervisor of bridge inspectors.
• Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) license required.

Responsabilités

• Performs field inspections per RIDOT Bridge Inspection Manual and FHWA NBIS.
• Supervises team members and vendors for access/equipment.
• Works at heights, in confined spaces, near live traffic and adverse weather.
• Prepares inspection reports and QA reviews.
• Bridge analyses and load rating calculations as needed.
• Develops bridge rehabilitation plans and related documents.
