This role includes leading a team of bridge inspectors, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and successfully delivering documented reports. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of inspection experience, along with a Professional Engineer license in Connecticut. Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years of bridge inspection experience meeting FHWA NBIS qualification requirements.
• Demonstrated experience serving as an NBIS Bridge Inspection Team Leader.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Connecticut or ability to obtain.

Aufgaben

• Manage and execute bridge inspections in compliance with standards.
• Supervise and mentor bridge inspectors.
• Lead hands-on inspections and identify structural deficiencies.
• Plan and coordinate inspection schedules and traffic control.
• Ensure compliance with jobsite safety requirements.

Kenntnisse

Strong knowledge of NBIS and FHWA regulations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to lead teams

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
