Job summary

Blumenthal Arts is seeking a part-time Ticketing Services Specialist in Charlotte, NC. The role supports in-person ticketing operations across venues, serves as lead-on-duty for box offices, and ensures accurate sales and customer service during performances and events.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in ticketing or related fields, with strong knowledge of ticketing systems and customer service. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required to meet event needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ticketing, customer service, hospitality, or related field.
• Experience leading or supervising staff preferred.
• Experience with AudienceView Unlimited or similar ticketing system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-duty during assigned shifts, overseeing in-person ticketing operations.
• Open and close box office locations per procedures.
• Process ticket sales, exchanges, will call, refunds, and other transactions.
• Monitor operations and make decisions to ensure efficient service.
• Prepare ticketing settlements and reconcile sales activity.
• Fulfill internal ticketing requests and maintain stock and materials.
• Communicate issues and staffing needs to the Manager.
