Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging Solutions North America is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join the Bottles Product Development team. You will own technical aspects of development from concept through production readiness, collaborating with Customers, Sales, Design Engineers, Project Managers, R&D, Manufacturing and Quality to deliver next-generation bottle products.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in product development and manufacturing of bottles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of statistical methods and programs (SPC/DOE/MiniTab).

Responsibilities

Lead multi-functional team through development of new bottles from concept to production readiness.
Drive project plans to deliver on time, within budget, and within scope.
Oversee product and tooling design; lead design reviews and maintain design requirements.
Coordinate Technical Development Plan for RFQs or Business Case, including cost inputs and equipment costs.
Lead technical communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Report deviations on time, cost, and deliverables to senior management.
Ensure adherence to Berry, industry, and regulatory procedures (MOC, Stage Gate, ISO).
Collaborate with Quality to establish critical-to-quality metrics and validate process capability.
