Job summary

Form Energy is hiring a Staff Electrical Engineer to drive the PCBA design lifecycle for cutting-edge battery technology. You will own requirements, layout, bring-up, verification, and release while collaborating with mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure safety and compliance.

You will develop DFMEA/CFMEA, electrical diagrams, SPICE analyses, and test plans. The role emphasizes high-power system expertise and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience is acceptable.
• Proficiency in PCBA design tools and safety/compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of PCBA design from requirements to release and verification.
• Ensure PCBA safety, reliability, and compliance for high-power systems.
• Create DFMEA/CFMEA, electrical diagrams, simulations, and test plans.
• Collaborate with System Eng, Mechanical, Firmware, and Test teams across stages.
• Support debugging, maintenance, and improvements of released PCBA designs.
• Document architecture, bring-up results, and root-cause analyses.
