Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Manufacturing Lead Technician for our Los Angeles, CA facility to oversee production scheduling, shift operations, and personnel coordination in a GMP-biotech environment.

You will operate equipment such as UF units, chromatography columns, CIP/SIP systems, and maintain strict adherence to FDA regulations while driving documentation and safety standards. This role requires leadership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a 24/7 plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related pharmaceutical/GMP/FDA experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to guide and develop department personnel.
• Solid knowledge of cGMPs, FDA regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; strong attention to detail.
• Read, write, and speak English; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production schedule, shift, and personnel coordination.
• Operate and set up equipment in a biologics manufacturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with FDA procedures and documentation.
• Maintain clean room and conduct basic process measurements (pH, turbidity, etc.).
• Lead in management absence and assist scheduling daily operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
