Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Equivalency: High school diploma or GED with 4 years related GMP/FDA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees and manage schedules.
• Oversee production review of department batch documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Initiate Facility Work Orders for equipment repairs.
• Participate in process/product troubleshooting to maintain aseptic processing and product yields.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and current knowledge of industry standards.
• Generate reports summarizing investigations for out-of-specification or out-of-procedure events.
• Support regulatory and internal inspections and provide written responses as needed.
• Provide guidance and hands-on training to direct reports.
• Appraise and monitor performance of department personnel.
• Coach and develop staff and manage health and safety responsibilities.
