Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Associate in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical Eng with 4+ years servicing medical equipment.
  • 4+ years experience with medical equipment or 6+ years with HS diploma.
  • Proficient electronic documentation using devices (iPad/iPhone) and MS Office.
  • Proven ability to maintain strong customer relations across levels.
  • Good communication of technical issues to non-technical customers.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team; compliant with background checks and immunization policies.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate complex customer biomedical equipment issues, implement repairs, perform PM and safety/environmental inspections.
  • Lead others regarding GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and documentation.
  • Establish proactive daily communications with customers for resolution and follow-up.
  • Mentor technicians and delegate tasks within the local team to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain calibration, spare parts, and test equipment; document actions per schedule.
  • Comply with customer access policies including immunizations and background checks.
