Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical engineering or related field is required.
• Master’s degree or PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, biostatistics, molecular biology, or related discipline preferred.
• Requires three or more years of increasingly responsible experience in a laboratory or core facility operations.
• Five or more years of experience in a research laboratory or shared core environment is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end bulk RNA-seq analysis, including QC, alignment/quantification, differential expression, and visualization.
• Analyze single-cell RNA-seq and spatial datasets, including QC, normalization, integration, clustering, and annotation.
• Perform ATAC-seq, CUT&Tag, and CUT&RUN analyses, with peak calling and motif analysis.
• Develop and maintain reproducible R, Python, and Linux analysis workflows and core pipelines.
• Prepare methods descriptions for manuscripts and grants; present results to investigators.
