Job summary

Follett Higher Education is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer to design and implement data analytics solutions that enable data-driven decisions across the organization. You will partner with enterprise stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver scalable BI capabilities.

You will lead data analytics initiatives, build semantic layers, and develop dashboards and reports using Azure and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing end-to-end data analytics solutions.
• Experience designing semantic layers for BI and Analytics consumption.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Experience developing actionable reports and dashboards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with stakeholders and tech teams.
• Experience in project management and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end scalable analytics solutions using Azure services and SQL Server tools.
• Collaborate with business users and IT leadership to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Create data dictionaries, mapping, and functional design documentation.
• Perform data analysis and profiling; resolve data quality issues with data owners.
• Stay current with industry trends and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption.
• Participate in project planning, estimating development effort and timelines.
