Job summary

Caesars Entertainment’s Horseshoe Casino Tunica seeks a Beverage Department Supervisor to oversee shift operations, staff training, scheduling and compliance with ABC regulations. You will ensure guest service excellence, cost control and safe, sanitary beverage outlets on the casino floor.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in beverage, 1+ year supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college education within related field.
• Three years experience in beverage industry.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Knowledgeable in total beverage service/bartending including drink preparation and service.
• Customer service, employee relations and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with beverage administration, cost control and services.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and quick decisions.
• Ability to train, follow and execute training manuals.
• Teamwork and well-groomed appearance.
• Ability to respond calmly to guests and employees; multi-tasking.
• Ability to implement strategic vision in day-to-day ops.
• Strong mathematical computation and written report ability.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English; respond to cues.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the beverage department operations on an assigned shift/area.
• Coordinates activities of workers selling and serving beverages on premises.
• Train and supervise beverage staff.
• Schedule beverage department employees.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and ABC regulations.
• Maintain high guest service standards and sanitation.
• Move personnel to outlets in need to manage costs.
• Complete shift-related paperwork and safety compliance.
