Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Benefits and Authorization - Specialty Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Patient Benefit Verification and/or Authorization team.

You will interview, hire, train, coach and evaluate staff; ensure accurate payer requirements and policy rollouts; and maintain industry knowledge to support a fast-paced, patient-centered workflow. This position offers growth opportunities within a national home infusion provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of medical insurance authorization supervisory experience, or 3–5 years of medical insurance authorization experience with progression.
• Minimum of one year customer service preferred.
• Home infusion experience on the provider or payer side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily productivity and coaches team; addresses corrections as needed.
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees; directs work, evaluates performance, and handles disciplinary actions.
• Go-to for troubleshooting issues with CMC Patient Registration team members.
• Maintains knowledge of industry, regulatory and reimbursement issues and informs AVA team of key changes.
• Assists with rollout of new policies and procedures.
