Job summary

Option Care Health, the nation’s largest home infusion provider, is seeking a Supervisor of Benefits and Authorization - Specialty Operations to oversee day-to-day operations of the Patient Benefit Verification and/or Authorization team. This role requires coordinating with CMC Patient Registration, troubleshooting issues, and staying updated on payer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of medical insurance authorization supervisory experience, OR 3-5 years of medical insurance authorization experience with demonstrated progression.
• Minimum of one (1) year customer service preferred.
• Home infusion experience on the provider or payer side preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily productivity performance including team member coaching and addresses corrections where needed
• Interviews, hires, and trains employees. Directs work, appraises performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Go-to for troubleshooting issues and resolutions with CMC Patient Registration team members.
• Maintains updated knowledge of industry, regulatory and reimbursement issues and of payer requirements. Keeps AVA team abreast of key changes.
• Assists with roll out of new policies and procedures.
