Option Care Health in Springfield, IL seeks a Supervisor, Benefits and Authorization - Specialty Operations to oversee daily patient benefit verification and authorization activities. You will coach staff, manage workflows, and ensure compliance with payer requirements.

Role requires leadership in a fast-paced environment, with a high school diploma and 1 year of supervisory experience in medical insurance authorization (or 3-5 years with progression).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year supervisory experience in medical insurance authorization, OR 3-5 years with progression.
• Minimum of one year customer service preferred.
• Home infusion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors daily productivity including coaching and corrections as needed.
• Interviews, hires, trains employees; directs work and appraises performance.
• Troubleshoots with CMC Patient Registration team members.
• Keeps knowledge of payer requirements and industry/regulatory changes updated.
• Assists with rollout of new policies and procedures.
