Job summary

Axis Health System is seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Technician to oversee the BHT team, supervise staff, and deliver direct client care as needed for substance use therapy. The role ensures documentation, program changes, and policy adherence across the unit.

The ideal candidate will have CAT certification, 2+ years in crisis stabilization or detox, and a preferred bachelor's degree with CAS/LAC licensure.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required with CAT certification.
• CAS or LAC license strongly preferred.
• 2+ years in crisis stabilization, detox, or CSU setting.
• Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unit operations and deliver supervision to staff.
• Provide direct client care for substance use-related therapy as needed.
• Oversee documentation, program changes, and policy adherence.
• Ensure staff follow Axis Health System programming and policies.
