Job summary

HealthPartners Regions in Lake Elmo, MN is seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Coordinator to support our outpatient Behavioral Health team.

As team lead for the Development Pediatric team, you will ensure that protocols are followed, oversee daily charges, scheduling, referrals, registration and clinic reception services. The role serves patients of all ages, primarily adults, in a full-time daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years of office clerical experience, including at least two years in a medical office setting.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, phone systems and office equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure and pay attention to detail.
• Experience with EPIC is preferred in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a team lead for the Development Pediatric team and ensure that established protocols and systems are maintained.
• Batch daily charges and manage patient appointment scheduling.
• Handle appointment referrals, information, registration, and clinic reception services.

Position Summary

The purposes of this position are: To act as a team lead for the Development Pediatric team, to assure that established protocols and systems are maintained, to batch daily charges, to provide patient appointment scheduling, appointment referral administration/information, registration, and clinic reception services to designated area, and to perform related duties as assigned. Works with patients of all ages, primarily adults.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Required Qualifications

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination

High school diploma or equivalent

Five years office clerical experience, including a minimum of two years in a medical office setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Exceptional customer service skills (internal and external)
• Expertise use of computer, phone system and other office machines
• Knowledge of all policies, procedures and regulations relating to position and clinic assignment
• Ability to systematically and skillfully respond to telephone calls and customer requests
• Ability to work under pressure
• Attention to details in distracting environment
