Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, patient care, and experience working with children. This position is essential in promoting positive behavior management and helping clients achieve their personal goals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervision and mentorship: The lead therapist provides guidance, training, and constructive feedback to a team of behavior technicians (BTs) or registered behavior technicians (RBTs). This includes developing the skills of new staff members.
• Treatment plan oversight: They help ensure that behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs, which are designed by Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), are carried out correctly and consistently.
• Data collection and analysis: A lead therapist oversees the collection and summarization of client data to track progress and report on outcomes. They may also assist BCBAs with clinical assessments.
• Communication and coordination: This role involves acting as a facilitator and liaison for the client's treatment team. This includes communicating with BCBAs, parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a unified approach to the client's care.
