Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of software development experience.
• Deep understanding of real-time software architecture.
• Experience shipping safety-critical automotive software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one additional engineering-tooling language.
• Experience with AI-assisted developer productivity tools.
• Experience migrating Make-based build orchestration to Bazel.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering productivity and effectiveness across teams.
• Coach and mentor engineers while balancing technical leadership with empathy.
• Modernize build/test systems from Make to Bazel with scalable infra.
• Define phased Bazel migration strategy and rollout model.
• Design reusable Bazel rules, toolchains, and configurations for embedded software.
• Integrate Bazel with enterprise CI/CD and infrastructure workflows.
• Improve build/test parity, reproducibility, and cache efficiency.
• Ensure artifact provenance, test evidence, and security compliance.
