Job summary

Davenport-District-Hospitality is seeking an experienced Lead Bartender to join our team. You will lead daily bar operations, set the standard for service, and support the bartending staff while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role is full-time, requires 21+ years of age, and offers competitive pay plus tips, with opportunities for discounts and benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bartending experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• MAST and Food Handler Permit Required

Responsibilities

• Lead daily bar operations and set the standard for service excellence.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and support bartending staff.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies, and monitor product usage.
• Ensure compliance with liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with menu development, seasonal cocktails, and beverage promotions.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and create memorable experiences.
• Fill in when need for call outs
