Job summary

Lamuse d’Or is seeking an experienced Lead Bartender to join our opening team and help build a premier bar and beverage program. This hourly role focuses on leadership behind the bar, program development, and delivering top-tier guest experiences.

You will work with restaurant leadership on pre-opening beverage creation, inventory, and training, then lead shifts providing polished service and maintaining beverage standards across the team.

Qualifications

• TIPS certified.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent math and cash handling skills.
• Familiarity with various types of alcoholic beverages.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for guest service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Minimum 4 years craft cocktail experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening & beverage program development, including cocktail recipes, bar setup, inventory and pricing considerations.
• Provide polished, attentive guest service during shifts and model approved recipes and techniques.
• Coordinate daily bar setup, stocking, prep, side work, and closing tasks.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages; assist staff with product knowledge.
• Support beverage tastings, training, and menu updates.
• Ensure bar is clean, stocked, and service-ready before opening.
• Lead, train, and coach junior bartenders and service staff.
