Pins Mechanical Co. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Lead Bartender to mentor the bar team and partner with management to deliver exceptional guest service on every shift.

You will oversee day-to-day bar operations, maintain knowledge of the menu and promotions, and ensure accurate POS transactions while upholding company standards. A flexible schedule and high-volume experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume bartending.
• Ability to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy items for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current Floor Manager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bar operations as directed by management.
• Deliver exceptional beverage service per company standards.
• Follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Respond to and resolve issues by escalating to management.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the bar.
• Know the menu, cocktails, and current promotions.
• Elevate guest concerns to manager when needed.
• Certify staff are pouring and ringing drinks correctly in POS.
• Anticipate guest and colleague needs and assist proactively.
• Perform pre-opening or closing duties as assigned.

As a Lead Bartender, your top priority is to support your team members and management team to ensure every guest receives exceptional service while being the lead in your assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Support day to day bar operations as directed by management
• Deliver exceptional beverage service in accordance with company standards
• Follow proper cash handling procedures
• Respond to and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise on shift by escalating issues to management
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the entire bar.
• Maintain expert knowledge of our menu, cocktail recipes, and current promotions.
• Respond appropriately to shift issues or guest concerns and elevate matters to manager
• Certify team members are pouring and ringing in drinks properly in the POS, and communicate concerns to management
• Anticipate needs of guests and colleagues, assist without having to be asked.
• Perform pre-opening or closing duties of location as assigned by manager

Skills And Abilities

• High-volume bartending experience required
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast paved environment
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, and/or lifting heavy items for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
• Current Floor Managers preferred
